“Hope is the light at the end of the tunnel, the northern star by which we navigate our lives.”

INTRODUCTION
The COVID-19 pandemic has been a challenging time for many people all over the world. As a crocheter, I wanted to create something that would bring a sense of hope and positivity during these difficult times. That’s why I created the Hope Pillow Cover crochet pattern, featuring the word “Hope” in orange on a black background.
Orange is a color that represents hope, optimism, and warmth. It’s a color that can inspire feelings of happiness and excitement, and it’s often associated with joy and creativity. By using orange for the word “Hope,” I wanted to convey the message that even in the darkest of times, there is always reason to be optimistic and to look towards a brighter future.
Black, on the other hand, is a color that represents strength, elegance, and sophistication. It’s a color that can convey a sense of power and resilience, and it’s often associated with dignity and formality. By using black for the background of the Hope Pillow Cover, I wanted to convey the message that hope can be found even in the darkest of times, and that with strength and resilience, we can overcome even the most difficult challenges.
The Hope Pillow Cover crochet pattern is an easy pattern to follow, and it’s a great way to create something beautiful and meaningful during a difficult time. By using the colors orange and black, the Hope Pillow Cover crochet pattern is not just a pattern, but also a symbol of hope and resilience.

PATTERN DETAILS
The Hope Pillow Cover is a removable, advanced beginner tapestry crochet pattern. The front panel of the cover is the one that carries the design, while the back panel is made up of a solid color.
The pattern comes with a printable version of the graph, which is broken up into two pages. You’ll need to tape the pages together to form the full design before starting the project.
If this is your first time coming across a tapestry crochet project, I have a series of Tapestry Crochet Tutorial that I would suggest you check out before you start this project. The tutorial provides simple patterns for you to practice as well. The type of tapestry crochet that I used for the Double Happiness Pillow Cover is the one that I called Two-Directional Flat Tapestry Crochet.
