INTRODUCTION
The Comfy Cotton Shawl is a free triangular shawl crochet pattern. It is worked from the bottom up (as a reversed triangle) and it uses the C2C (corner to corner) increase stitch. This shawl can be made of any size simply by adding or subtracting rows, and it also can be worn as a scarf!
Crochet shawls are one of my absolute favorite projects to make! They are a great accessory for the winter, fall, and spring, or even the summer by the beach. A shawl is a perfect project for a selfish make, and it makes an awesome gift too! The Comfy Cotton Shawl uses a simple pattern repeat and a 6mm crochet hook, which means that it is beginner-friendly and fairly quick to make! The pattern is easily memorizable and 100% Netflix-friendly!
This pattern calls for the Lion Brand Comfy Cotton Blend yarn, which is categorized as a #3 DK yarn. This yarn is 50% cotton and 50% polyester, which makes it very soft and comfortable, very suitable for spring and summer makes, and a great option for baby and kids projects.
The Comfy Cotton Shawl is simple, versatile, and easy to make! Make it in variegated yarn or solid colors; make it for yourself or give it as a gift; make it even as a Mommy & Me set! It looks lovely on adults and children alike!
